Atticus got up and moved Tyshae so that her whole body was on the bed. He laughed to himself while putting up the champagne and strawberries. He got a blanket from the closet to lie across his sleeping queen.

Not being able to resist her, he decided to lay with her and get a little sleep himself. He pulled her body close to him and Tyshae moaned ever so slightly and shifted in her sleep.

Atticus didn’t want to wake her and kissed her lightly on her neck as he snuggled up behind her. She is such a perfect fit for me; he thought as he drifted off himself.

As the sun rose through the windows of the penthouse, Atticus opened his eyes only to see that Tyshae was still sleeping peacefully. He slipped out of bed and went to the restroom to freshen up. He had a big day at the Community Center since they were going over the final itinerary for the Community Carnival and he wanted to make sure that everything was in place.

He decided to leave Tyshae sleeping and wrote her a little letter:

Hey sleeping beauty, I thought you needed to rest a little longer than me, so I didn’t bother you. I arranged for the front desk to have Neiman’s bring you a couple of items for you to wear. If you need anything else please let the front desk know and they will handle it. I really enjoyed our time last night and I want to see you later if that is ok. Call me and let me know that you made it to work today beautiful and have a blessed day.

Leaving the letter on the nightstand beside, her Atticus looked at her one more time and left to go start his day.

Tyshae stretched and yawned while opening her eyes. She didn’t recognize where she was and panic began to set in. She then remembered coming to the Ritz to meet Atticus. She called out to him and didn’t receive a response at all. She got up to look for him and spotted the letter that he had left for her.

The biggest smile graced her face as she read each line of the note. He took good care of her last night and was so thoughtful and as soon as she got herself together she was going to call him and thank him.
